5. Please stay out of direct sunlight & saunas while the brows are healing.

6. Please avoid getting any facial treatments until brows are healed.

IMPORTANT NOTES ON WHAT IS NORMAL TO EXPECT

– If there is any swelling or redness this will go down in the first 24-48 hours.

– You may feel a slight tight feeling over and around the tattooed area and it can feel a little tender in the first 1-4 days.

– A slight crusting may occur in the first 5-7 days. This is normal. Let any scale naturally fall off. Do NOT pick. Some pigment may come off with it. There will be no scabbing however, the top layer naturally flakes off.

– Colour healing is generally a 3-week cycle.

       – Week 1: They will be darker & sharper than usual.

       – Week 2: Brows can look quite dull & patchy; even to the point you think   the pigment is gone.

       – Week 3: Pigment starts to come back out in the skin and you will be ready for your touch up.

– It is normal in some cases for some hair strokes to fade out or brows to become patchy– this is why there is a 2nd touch up appointment to assess the retention & complete the treatment.

OMBRE BROW COSMETIC TATTOO

2. Do not get make up on or near your tattoo for 7 days.

3.  Avoid sweating for 5 days.

4. Apply your aftercare cream 5 times a day for 5 days, with a clean cotton tip not your finger.

IMPORTANT NOTES ON WHAT IS NORMAL TO EXPECT

– Your tattoo will weep for the first 24/48 hours. You will need to wipe this off to avoid crusting, then reapply aftercare cream.

– Your tattoo will go much darker for the first 24 hours. This is temporary.

– You may get a headache the day of your treatment. Yes you can take panadol.

– Your tattoo will shrink approximately 2mm within 3 to 5 days.

– Your tattoo can fade up to 50% by the end of the first week.

– Your tattoo may become very itchy as they heal, avoid scratching.

– Your tattoo may become uneven and or gappy by the end of the first week.

REMEMBER: This is a 2 stage process, the adjustment session with correct shape, thickness, gaps, colour, depth, length, fullness and balance.

EYELINER COSMETIC TATTOO

1. Do not wet your eyes for 10 days.

2. Do not apply make up on your eyes for 10 days.

3. Avoid sweating for 7 days

4. Apply an aftercare balm that is provided 2 x per day with a clean cotton tip for 7 days. Less is more, only a very thin layer is needed. The ointment is greasy so please do not pile it on as this can affect the healing process.

5. Contact lenses can be worn 24 hours after treatment.

IMPORTANT NOTES ON WHAT IS NORMAL TO EXPECT

– There may be slight swelling immediately after the treatment. This is individual and differs between each person. This will go down in 1-3 days.

– Eyeliner will appear thicker immediately after treatment. This will shrink when healing.

– If there is any immediate swelling, this can visually effect the look of the eyeliner. Please be patient while this subsides.

LIP COSMETIC TATTOO

1. Do not wet your lips for 7 days.

2. Do not apply make up on your lips for 10 days.

4. Apply an after care balm generously everyday for 7 days. This must be applied using a clean cotton tip. Keep applying regularly to ensure lips are moist at all times.

IMPORTANT NOTES ON WHAT IS NORMAL TO EXPECT

– Colour intensity can be extreme for the first week. This will fade 50% as the healing process occurs.

– Lips may be swollen and tender for the first 1-3 days.

– Lips may be still numb immediately following the treatment because of the topical anesthetic. After the numbing has gone you can gently use an icepack to help with swelling.

– Day 3-6 the lips will generally become very dry and chapping will occur. After 6 days the colour will start to soften.

– The top layer will slowly start to flake off when putting the cream on. Do not pick this off. Let it gradually flake off when it is ready.

– Avoid ‘messy food’ for the first 4 days & drink out of a straw.

– Colour may start to appear very dull between weeks 2-4. This is a normal part of the healing process. Please wait 6-8 weeks for the full colour to be evident.

NON-LASER TATTOO REMOVAL

It is critical to follow all aftercare instructions to prevent complications, scarring and to achieve optimum results. Please read carefully.

WHAT TO EXPECT AFTER YOUR FIRST SESSION

  • You will experience 2 scab cycles. The first session will be VERY bloody on day 1 and then darken and form a hard scab within 48 hours. This usually drops off in 4 to 5 days and sometimes longer in mature skin. The second scab will be white, flakey and itchy that looks like peeling sunburn.

  • You may feel dryness for the entire 6 weeks.

  • Tattoo will oxidise and blur after session 1. This means it will change colour to wither a greyer or more red.

  • The second session is often the most effective compared to the first session. The first session agitates the pigment, and it starts to slowly move to the top of the skin, however may not come out which makes it appear slightly darker in some circumstances.

AFTER CARE INSTRUCTIONS

  1. KEEP AREA CLEAN and open to the air. Do not cover with a Band-Aid or anything else. Air/oxygen provides good and faster healing. You should not be touching the area at all.

  2. Do not wet the treated area as water will destroy the scab.

  3. No Bathing, swimming, saunas, hot tubs, tanning or intense exercise for 1 week.

  4. Do not disrupt the scabbing process (i.e no picking, scratching etc.) All scabbing needs to fall off naturally. If you force or pick a scab off, you will disrupt the process and possibly cause scarring.

  5. Treat area with TLC. The edges can be wiped clean from any dripping blood, or fluid, however the site should be left alone. Keep the area clear and do not apply any creams.

  6. Once all scabbing has naturally fallen off, apply one drop if Vitamin E Oil twice per day through the day everyday for a minimum of 4 weeks or until lightening session. Do not start applying the Vitamin E oil until all scabbing has completely fallen off. It is our goal to keep the area as dry as possible until all scans have naturally fallen off.

FACTORS THAT CAN AFFECT THE LONGEVITY OF YOUR COSMETIC TATTOO

1. Exposure to sun, salt water, chlorine and chemicals (put sunscreen on your tattoo)

2. Sun can cause fading over time.

3. Products containing Glycol Acid and Rentin A  must be kept completely away from the tattoo as continued use could lighten colours.

4. If you have oilier skin than normal, the longevity of the pigment can be less as the oil pushes the pigment out the skin.

5. Lighter pigments will fade faster then dark coloured pigments.

6. Smoking can cause the cosmetic tattoo to fade faster.
