Uses of Lip Tattoos

Lip blush tattoos can be used instead of lipsticks or lip glosses. They are semi-permanent, non-irritating and only fade with time. The pigment of the dye is released by your lips' warmth and natural oils, so it usually takes around 1 hour to fully develop.

Our artist will start off by drawing your lip shape with an eyeliner pencil, then they will place a stencil on top and finally follow the line of the stencil with permanent ink. The tattoo can last anywhere between 9 months and 2 years depending on how well you look after it. 

Permanent lip tattoo is usually applied in one of two ways: you can either use a lip liner to create the shape that you want and then fill it in with tattoo ink, or you can use a lip gloss with tattoo pigment already in it. The latter is often referred to as a ‘permanent stain’.
